Okay, so here it is...the first few pages of my moly. When deciding on which scene to use in my own book, I knew I wanted to include Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, so I looked up the part of the story they're in and was immediately smitten with the story of the Tweedles doing battle...so here is my version, complete with sauce pan helmet and pillowy padding. The scan kind of blurred up the cross-hatching I attempted to incorporate in the coloring stage, but I really wanted the color to be very soft. Rose, I hope you're ready...I'll be mailing this off sometime this week :)

This is so cute, I love your style Kelley! The colouring is so soft, do you used coloured pencils? Their faces are so innocent and sweet too :3 I really like the cross-hatching too, it really works well. Great scene you've captured, I cant wait to see this in real life! xxx
awww, thanks Rose! Yes, after the inking stage, I felt like I wanted you use very minimal color because I was really liking the way the hatching went...so I ended up getting out the ol' prismacolors and lightly crosshatched some color into the characters and background :)
My intro pages are another story...but I didn't post pictures of those...thought I'd leave everyone a little surprise, hee hee.
