I actually finished this last week, it's only now I've had a chance to scan it.
Poor Alice - she finally got to be a queen and it wasn't all that neat, really. Everyone was still mean to her.

oh my god that's amazing! Wouldn't have thought to use both pages and done it verticly, good thinking Amy. The image looks fab, I love how you've depicted the queen as a chess piece!
Oh man, I am so jealous of your color skills! My stuff never comes out this vibrant and wonderful!!! SO jealous, LOL!! Amazing piece Amy!! I love it.
Well, the plot of Through the Looking Glass is laid out like a real chess game. Alice's movements through the book correspond to those of a real pawn. The Red and White Queens are actual chess pieces.
ah I've never got round to reading Thrugh the Looing Glass, I should really get round to it :) I also agree with kelly - what did you use? coloured pencil? The peice really does look so vibrant!
Oh no, the Red Queen is not the same as the Queen of Hearts. Completely different characters.
As to what I used - just Pigma Microns and copics.
