2nd entry to Kelley's book

Well, here it is! A more simple yet cleaner entry then my others, It's my fav so far!

I'm a goof...

I just realized I never posted my book to our blog...I put it up on my own but never posted a picture here to show before sending it back off to Rose. Doh!!

My brain gets worse daily, I swear :P

Anyway here it is:

I have to say, following Amy in rotation is kind of hard. Number 1, your work is just lovely. You seem to easily create movement and gorgeous color schemes so effortlessly. But number 2, you almost always end with a straight line, LOL, or in this case an open ended apron, that I cannot figure out how to add to, LOL. I always want to blend the drawings into each other and you are very....well... trick-sies, preciousss (that's of course in my best Gollum voice, LOL) Anyway...I tied a more diagonal layout this time to try and get your vertical entry and my more horizontal one to not clash too much, LOL. I think it worked, i'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Queen Alice

I actually finished this last week, it's only now I've had a chance to scan it.
Poor Alice - she finally got to be a queen and it wasn't all that neat, really. Everyone was still mean to her.

Look Out Amy...it's comin' for you...

My boyfriend is a total stinker. He was home from work today and so I asked him to check the mail for me while I was at work. You know, on the off chance that I received a moly from one of the five exchanges I'm in :) So he very nicely goes out and tells me, "nope, nothing. All I got was a bill." Soooo I'm sitting there thinking "ah, hell. When am I gonna get some stuff to play with?"

Well....I walk into the house tonight after work and what is sitting on the coffee table, right before my eyes? My moly from Shalanna. He comes walking out of the kitchen, big ol' grin on his face completely proud of the fact that he's tricked and lied to me, LOL, what can I say...I forgave him. He was entirely too pleased with himself and it just made me laugh. So Amy...It's on it's way tomorrow. I'll mail it from work and you should have it in a day or two (if last time was any sort of an indication, you may have it by Friday) Woot!! New moly for Amy to work on. Talk to you all again soon, I'm sure.

Girls, we've lost another one....

I've just received an email from Tiffany and she's bowing out of the exchange. I've sent an email off to Sherrie to make sure she hadn't already mailed any books yet and hopefully we will get back on track. Amy I know Sherrie had yours, so I've made sure to ask her to forward it back to you so you can start another entry in your book if you choose to before sending it back on to me :)


So with Amy's book about to finish the first round, I suppose we should decide if we all want to go for a second round just between those of us who are active participants or if you guys are done. I for one, would like to just get my book back so that I can get it to Amy for her entry...but you know that's just me :) I know Rose mentioned she was up for keeping it just between those of us who are active on the blog. I couldn't agree more...so we'll see what happens, and who comments. Hope to hear from you guys.

Yes, I was bored...and in the hopes that I might inspire are two pokie group members, who are now three months late, I've attempted to show our books as up to date as possible. Forgive my crap Photoshop skills, it was the best I could do at this time :)

(sorry the pictures are so small ladies, with as wide as they are that was the biggest I could get them...maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I futzed with them for a good twenty minutes.)
